Lightning PR Visit to Holland

November 2009

Two representatives of the Bonus Pastor Foundation Director Sándor Magdó and Public Relations Coordinator Ildikó Molnár had a short, but intensive, PR trip to Holland this year between 12-18 November.

Our Dutch host was Harry van der Stege in Nunspeet, Secretary of Bonus Pastor Foundation Netherlands, who did a great job by organizing the trip so well. The aim of this year's trip was to visit our old contacts and consolidate our relationships; on the other hand we also wished to introduce our new PR staff member to our Dutch friends.

We spent all of our nights in Nunspeet and traveled with Harry to different locations. The itinerary for our visit was: ‘t Harde at the EBC (Evangelical Treatment Center), Rijssen, Vriezenveen, Delft at the storehouse of Stichting Hulp-Oost Europa, Zwolle at Stichting Careander, Utrecht, Sneek, Kamerik and Hasselt.

Besides informal visits to old Bonus Pastor friends we also met new people. We had the opportunity to introduce the Foundation and its activities with a slide presentation to some of the members of the Christelijk Gereformeerde Kerk/Gereformeerde Kerk Vrijgemaakt in Sneek who came to meet us. In Nunspeet Sandor had a 10 minute presentation at the Nederlands Geref Kerk as a part of the service. You can listen to the service and Sandor's talk here. After the service the three members of BPF NL and the Romanian BP delegation met and Sandor presented the future plans of the BPF RO and the present financial situation.

Throughout the trip the visits were also recorded with photos which would tell you more and add some colorful details:

For the next year we plan to take a longer trip and to visit even more new contacts. Until then we encourage our old and new friends to visit us in Ozd and take part in the life of the Therapy Centre for a few days.

Thank you for you hospitable reception, we really felt like at home!
Sándor Magdó and Ildikó Molnár
