Public Awareness
By its Public Awareness activities BPF aims to draw attention to the dangers of excessive alcohol
consumption and drugs as well as to refute popular myths about alcoholism and addiction.
Furthermore, we call those in need of help to recognize their need for healing.
Advertisments about our programs are readily published by printed and electronic press and
broadcasted via radio. Personal testimonies of and interviews with recovering addicts are made
accessible to many in the same ways.
Our workers and volunteers are quite often invited to
speak on radio about addiction-related topics and personal experiences.
The same purpose is followed when we accept invitations to lecture in churches, schools,
universities and any other locations.
